Meet the Team

Corrinda Brown-Cryer is the Executive Director for the ARKITEX Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping increase the number of diverse licensed architects.

With a background in Organizational Leadership, Corrinda brings a creative yet structural knowledge with innovation, strategy, and organizational communication. Coupled with the collaboration of community gatekeepers and professional peers, understanding the importance of being able to offer a platform for youth in this manner gives Corrinda the opportunity to support youth in a non-traditional way while still making a positive impact in the community. ARKITEX is a gateway which allows Corrinda’s purpose for helping others grow through a steward leader’s model and provides resources to help aspiring future architects unleash their potential.

After years of considering ways to give back to the community, Corrinda is excited to lead the charge as ARKITEX links interest with purpose to play a positive role in the life of youth through the diverse means of engagement and empowerment for the future of architecture. Although her background is not in architecture, Corrinda’s belief for youth having accessibility to resources to pursue their dreams drives her passion to serve ARKITEX in this capacity.
